Liability for Content
We do not assume liability for the accuracy, completeness and the current validity of the content published on our site. In principle we are responsible for our own information displayed on this site for use, in accordance with §7 Section 1 of the TMG (German Telemedia Act). The following exemptions apply as provided for in §§8-10 of the TMG (German Telemedia Act):
- In accordance with § 8 Section1 of the TMG (German Telemedia Act), we are not responsible for any third party information that we transmit within a communication network, or that we provide access to, if we have neither prompted the transmission, nor selected the receiver of the transmitted information, nor selected or modified the transmitted information. This exemption does not apply if we intentionally cooperate with the user of such information in pursuit of an illegal activity.
- According to §8 Section 2 of the TMG (German Telemedia Act), this also includes the temporary storage of data referred to in Section 1, if the transmission is carried out within the communication network and such information is not stored for any period longer than is commonly necessary for its transmission.
- According to §9 of the TMG (German Telemedia Act) we are not liable for the automatic, temporary storage of data, that is intended for the sole purpose of creating a more efficient transmission of third party information to other users upon their request, on the condition that we do not modify the information, we comply with the conditions regarding access to such information, we comply with the rules regarding the update of such information, we do not impair the permitted use of technologies used to obtain data and that we act without delay to remove or block access to the stored information once we become aware that such information at the initial source of transmission has been removed from the network, or access to it has been blocked, or that a court or an administrative authority has ordered its removal or blockage.
- According to §10 of the TMG (German Telemedia Act), we are not liable for third party information stored for our users, on the condition that we are not aware of any illegal activity or information, or of any facts from which such illegal activity or information is apparent, and that we act without delay upon obtaining such knowledge.
Notwithstanding non-liability we are obligated to remove or block the use of information in accordance with the provisions of general law.
