Molti fornitori di servizi di traduzione nel frattempo hanno introdotto un sistema di assicurazione della qualità, tuttavia non sono ancora certificati. Le prime esperienze mostrano che anche chi opera come impresa individuale può trarre beneficio di una certificazione.

Angelika Zerfaß e Daniel Zielinski. Translation Memories have traditionally always tried to match whole segments (sentences). The terminology database then delivered single terms – if they had been entered – as additional information.
But what about all those phrases in the TM that translators would like to re-use but which are hidden inside segments and do not appear as separate terms in the term bases? Here concordance searches and sub-segment matching is the key.
This presentation will give an overview over the history of sub-segment matching, what kinds of sub-segment matching are available and how they work.
